Malory's Morte Dathur

Sir Thomas Malory's legend of King Arthur has been a repeated theme in various arts - books, movies, plays.  What rendition of King Arthur and the world of Knights and Chivalry do you find most memorable?  And why do you think that work resonates with you?

  1. I think all of them. Everyone has a different point of view on things, people prefer different versions or styles. It all just depends on how it is done.

  3. i find most memorable with King Arthur and the knights is that there are people out there doing good with all their might. I think it resonates with me because no matter what in any time I should be fighting for what I believe in. Go military troops of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! go fight win!

  6. The movie "Quest For Camelot" was a good way to describe the unity that King Arthur had with his faithful knights. They all stood with each other to defend against bad people.

  9. I have to say the movie "Quest for Camelot" It has songs in it so its not boring. I'm not a very good history buff, but Ii do know it would make a good bed time story if it wasn't a cartoon and had tons of fun event in it. It also shows a faithful and sad story about how great the king was and how wonderful of a father he was. I definitely like him a lot more because of this movie. I also like the view of the movie "Merlin" with queen Mab and her sister Lady of the lake. It was a great movie. One of my all time faves and it shows a very good view of the king before he was king and how he grew into it and found out how to be a great king by his great mentor, the wizard Merlin! Such a great movie!

  11. I dont think i've ever seen a version of King Arthur's story. They dont show that on Korean cable much.
I have seen Henry V. Its kind of a story about Knights. I highly recommend it.
It really got me thinking of what i could do with my life if i used my mind.
King Henry's army destroyed thousands using bow and arrow rather than face to face combat. He only lost a few men.
